Senior Program Manager

Operate at the level of Senior Program Manager with overall responsibility for the results achieved by in terms of cost, schedule and performance on several programs or product lines.  Manage all functions including sales, manufacturing, engineering, quality control, accounting, purchasing and human resources.  Strong background in both the financial and technical aspects of managing a business including personnel management, safety and profit/loss.  Expectation of this function requires clearly communicated and coordinated team management efforts involving all the activities within the technical disciplines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for personnel and operations on multiple programs.  Has the ability to manage all aspects of program and program personnel  including engineers, drafters, designers, consultants and administrative personnel.

  2. Responsible for program improvement, finished product, production, engineering operations, and necessary safety compliance.

  3. Provide leadership in product line marketing

  4. Responsible for program personnel management and evaluation.

  5. Advise, consult and/or counsel contacts and customers as necessary

  6. Report program or product line activities and monitor operation to plan and profitability.

  7. Provide solutions through independent judgment following established practices, policies and procedures.

  8. Make decisions and taking independent action, following broad objectives on strategic and operational matter affecting a major function or department in the organization.  

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  1. Bachelorís Degree in Engineering and a Masterís Degree in Technical Discipline or Business 

  2. Personnel Management training required.  The ability to understand and effect changes to the financial statements.

Experience:

  1. 15 years experience in technical field.

  2. Minimum 10 years working in a responsible management position.

  3. Proven ability to meet schedule and budget goals.

  4. Understanding and experience negotiating contract terms and conditions.

Knowledge:

  1. Demonstrated understanding of multiple technical areas.

  2. Possesses and applies knowledge of technical principles and practices in related fields.

  3. Demonstrates well-developed leadership qualities.

  4. Capability to interface with a variety of customers for project execution, obtaining follow-on work, and developing new business.

Program Manager

Operate at the level of Program Manager with responsibility for cost, schedule and performance results on a program.  Manage all functions including sales, manufacturing, engineering, quality control, accounting, purchasing and human resources.  Financial and technical background in managing a program and program personnel including  profit/loss.  Function requires clearly communicated and coordinated management efforts involving all program activities.

Business Analyst

Operate at the level of Business Manager/Analyst with responsibility for the financial results achieved on a particular program.  Manage all business functions including sales, accounting and contracts.  Strong background in finance and business including personnel management and profit/loss.  Expectation of this function requires clearly communicated and coordinated financial and business management efforts involving all the activities within the program and functional disciplines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for personnel and business operations.  Has the ability to manage all financial and business aspects of program personnel positions.

  2. Assist in program new business functions

  3. Responsible for business personnel management and evaluation 

  4. Advise, consult and/or counsel contacts and customers as necessary

  5. Manage business activities and profitability.

  6. Make business decisions and taking independent action on strategic and operational matter affecting business  functions.  

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  1. Bachelorís or Masterís Degrees in Business, Finance or Accounting.

  2. MBA preferred

Experience:

  1. 10 years business experience

Knowledge:

  1. Possesses and applies an advanced knowledge of generally accepted business principles and practices

  2. May have achieved a nationally/international recognized professional standing

  3. Demonstrates well-developed leadership qualities.

Contract Manager

Operate at the level of Contract Manager with responsibility for the contract management and contract administrative functions and results on a particular program.  Manage all contract functions including acquisitions, negotiations, and modifications.  Strong background in contracts and in business including knowledge of government acquisition regulations and law.  Expectation of this function requires clearly communicated and coordinated contracts efforts involving all the activities within the program and functional disciplines. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for contract management and contract administration operations.  Has the ability to manage contract personnel positions.

  2. Assist in program new contract functions

  3. Responsible for contract personnel management and evaluation 

  4. Advise, consult and/or counsel contacts and customers as necessary

  5. Manage contract and legal activities.

  6. Make contract decisions and taking independent action on contract or legal matters

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  1. Bachelorís or Masterís Degrees in Business or Business Administration

  2. Law degree preferred

Experience:

  1. 8 years contract experience

  2. NCMA membership

Knowledge:

  1. Possesses and applies an advanced knowledge of government contracting and legal principles and practices

  2. May have achieved a nationally/international recognized professional standing

  3. Demonstrates well-developed leadership qualities.

Senior Technical Writer

Expectation of this function requires clearly communicated and coordinated technical writing efforts involving technical documents, business documents, management documents and data.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for technical writing.

  2. Writes, edits and does layout design of technical documentation including reports, specifications, and presentations.

  3. Responsible for the management of data and documentation on file servers.

  4. Responsible for the tracking receipt of and response to Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL) data and contractor Requests for Information (RFIs).

  5. Responsible for the maintenance of program scheduling and tracking data in Microsoft Project

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  1. Bachelorís Degree with emphasis in English, Business or Technical Writing.

Experience

  1. Five years experience in editing, writing or in layout design of technical documentation, coupled with experience in management of data files in a file server environment.

Knowledge:

  1. Prior office experience.

  2. Multi-task oriented.

  3. Communication skills essential.

  4. Computer skills necessary (i.e. Windows environment, WordPerfect, Word)
